Beşiktaş Men’s Handball Team picked up 2 wins and 1 draw at the first stage of the handball finals that took place in Kayseri City over the weekend. 

After beating Bahçeşehir College, 36-29, and Metropolitan Municipality Ankaraspor, 32-21, in their first two matches, the Eagles were held to a 24-24 draw by the formidable Izmir Metropolitan Municipality. 
The Black and White leads the Final Four-group with a total of 7 points. The second stage of the play-offs will take place in Dalaman between May 14 and16, and the group winner is going to be crowned as national champions for the 2009-10 season.
