“It was not an easy game for us because we were not used to playing in an empty stadium. Moreover, our opponent desperately needed 3 points to get out of the relegation zone, and this was their last chance. But unfortunately, we have no intention of giving away any points to any team at this stage. To keep our plans for the next year going, we must finish this season on a high note.
Both teams had their chances, and it turned out to be an exciting match to watch. I congratulate all my players for playing their hearts out.
Nihat Kahveci had a great game tonight. He was real unlucky that his shots didn’t go in, but the good thing was, he refused to quit and kept searching. I hope he plays like that until the end of the season.”
