The season opening ceremonies of Beşiktaş Wrestling and Boxing teams were held at the BJK Inönü Stadium.

The Club General Secretary Fahrettin Curoğlu, Deputy-Chairman and Treasurer Engin Baltacı, Football Committee and Board Member Responsible for Amateur Sports, Investments and Fans Associations Doğan Küçükemre attended the ceremonies.
During the event, after reiterating their full support for the teams, Board Members and team coaches underscored the importance of bring up new champions, who would successfully represent Turkey on the international arena.
Süleyman Şahin: “We will use all our resources to make the Beşiktaş Wrestling, which we took over recently, successful. We will also search for new talents by opening up a number of wrestling schools outside Istanbul.”
İsmail Alataş: “As the new Beşiktaş Boxing Section we intend to bring the latest world standards to our club and find young and talented boxers who will fly this nation’s flag high in the international competitions.
The boxing and wrestling halls in the BJK İnönü Stadium were renovated through the contributions by Mr.  Şahin and Alataş. In a speech at t the end of the ceremonies, Board Member Doğan Küçükemre thanked Süleyman Şahin and İsmail Alataş for their contributions.
