Beşiktaş U-13s took part in the First International Kusadası Football Tournament participated by top European teams such as Porto, Chelsea, PSV Eindhoven and Middlesbrough over the weekend. 

After losing unexpectedly to the Turkish side Bucaspor 1-0 in the tournament opener, our U-13s got their act together and defeated PSV Eindhoven, 2-0, Eskişehirspor, 1-0, Yeni Nazillispor, 3-1, before drawing goalless against Ankaraspor to reach the quarter-final round as group runner-up. They knocked Bucaspor out with a 3-2 overtime victory in the quarter final stage and advanced to the tournament semi-final. 
The young Black Eagles downed the formidable Fenerbahçe 1-0 in the semifinal and paired againts the migthy Chelsea in the final. 
The Black and White led 1-0 for most of the match, but Chelsea salvaged a 1-1 draw with a last-minute goal and went on to claim the tournament title on penalty kicks, which resulted 5-4 in favour of the English team.
