Beşiktaş Men’s Handball Squad edged Izmir Metropolitan Municipality 28-25 in the second leg of the finals to capture the Turkish Cup.  

The Black and White made a fast start into the match and opened up a 4-goal lead at the 25-minute mark. Although Utku’s subsequent ejection crippled the Eagle’s offence significantly, Beşiktaş managed to take a 14-12 lead going into the locker at the half. Beşiktaş would fend off all attempts by the Izmır Metropolitan Municipality to erase the deficit in the second half and emerge with 28-25 victory to capture the Turkish Cup.
