Kasımpaşa 2- 2 Beşiktaş

The Black Eagles were held to a 2-2 draw away to Kasımpaşa at the Recep Tayyip Erdogan Stadium on Day 26 of the Turkcell Super League. Beşiktaş’s goals came from Tello (74) and Bobo (77).

The match between the two Istanbul City sides was refereed by Özgür Yankaya. The Black and White stepped on the pitch with a banner that celebrated the 107th Anniversary of Beşiktaş. A large group of fans supported them with chants and songs throughout the game.
Boths teams played an attacking football during the first 45 minutes with close calls at either end. While Holosko failed to capitalize on two good chances, the keeper Rüştü excelled in the net to keep the home side at bay. The first half ended goalless.
Kasımpaşa came out in a more determined mood for the start of the second half, and one minute after İbrahim Kaş replaced the injured defender Sivok in the 61st minute, went ahead through Gökhan Güleç. In an offensive move, Mustafa Denizli sent in Tabata and Nihat for Ernst and Holosko at the 73-minute mark. The substitutions paid off handsomely for Beşiktaş, as substitute Tabata immediately set up Tello’s goal to draw the scores level at 1-1. While the navy blue and white host team was still reeling from the shock of the equaliser, Bobo finished off Tello’s fine cross from the right flank with a diving header that put the Black and White in front for the first time in the match on 77 minutes.
Beşiktaş tried to play out the remaining minutes but could not prevent Şahin from equalising five minutes before full-time, as the teams cancelled each other with a 2-2 draw. The draw raised the Eagles’ point tally to 51 and kept them in third place.
