Beşiktaş Press Spokesperson, Board Member Responsible for Communications and Member of Football Committee Mr. Mete Düren shed light on Beşiktaş’s ongoing policy on re-signing of current players in an interview he gave to the Anatolian News Agency. 

According to him, the Black and White’s veteran stars İbrahim Toraman, İbrahim Üzülmez, Rüştü Reçber and Yusuf Şimşek are close to re-signing with the team.
Mr. Düren revealed that after lengthy negotiations, only minor details remained to be resolved between the said players and Beşiktaş.
Beşiktaş Press Spokesperson Mr. Mete Düren went on to add that he expects the minor differences will be worked out in time to re-sign İbrahim Üzülmez, İbrahim Toraman, Rüştü Rçber and Yusuf Şimşek, who all played an important part in the Club’s success last season and have been great this season as well.    
Mr. Düren also noted that Beşiktaş Board of Directors fully authorised the Football Committee to sign and re-sign players of its choice, but the committee would be accountable to the board and keep the board informed about its activities at all times.
