Beşiktaş Hammer Thrower Tuğçe Şahutoğlu, competing at the Interclub Throwing Championship held in Mersin City, is the new national record holder.

Beşiktaş Throwing Team took part in the Seyfi Alanya Winter Throwing Championship at the Macit Özcan Sports Complex in Mersin organized by the Turkish Interclub Throwing League.

Competing in under-23 hammer throwing meet, Beşiktaş athlete Tuğçe Şahutoğlu broke the Turkish record with 64m and 17cm. The old record belonged to Zübeyde Yıldız with 61m and 17cm.
