Beşiktaş Cola Turka 80, Bornova Municipality 92

Beşiktaş Cola Turka Men’s Basketball bowed out of the Teknosa Turkish Cup with a 92-80 quarterfinal loss to the Bornova Municipality.

The Turkish Cup quarterfinal took place at the Yüreğir Sports Hall in Adana City.
Bornova Municipality got off to a fine start and built a 16-9 lead midway through the opening quarter. From there on, the teams kept exchanging baskets, and heading into the second stanza, Bornova was up, 27-22. 
The second quarter was not much different than the first; as Bornova Municipality took a 6-point, 48-42 first half advantage into the locker room at the intermission.
Beşiktaş Cola Turka Men’s Basketball struggled to break free from a scoring drought in the third and fell behind 74-53 after there quarters of play.
In the final quarter, Bornova Municipality never allowed the Black Eagles to get back into the game as it sailed to an impressive, 12-point, 92-80, victory to advance to the Turkish Cup semifinal scheduled for Saturday.
