Turk Telekom 78, Beşiktaş Cola Turka 95

Beşiktaş Cola Turka Men’s Basketball blew out the host Turk Telekom 95-78 at the Ankara Atatürk Sports Hall in a Week 19 game of the season.

After starting the game with a 7-0 run, the Black and White used its tenacious defense to prevent Telekom from getting to the basket. Then, Baxter went to work on the margin with back-to-back threes, giving Beşiktaş Cola Turka a 21-5 cushion midway through the quarter. The Eagles were up by 17 points, 31-14, after one. They kept their dominating performance going in the second and racked up a comfortable 51-31 halftime lead.
The second half was a replica of the first with Beşiktaş Cola Turka getting consecutive treys from Muratcan Güler and Brad Newley to preserve the margin. In the closing stages of the third, Turk Telekom managed to rally back behind the shooting of Wilson but still trailed 72-56, heading into the fourth. Staked to a 16-point lead, the Black Eagles took it easy in the final quarter to cruise to a 95-78 victory.
