Beşiktaş:4 - Gençlerbirliği:1

On Matchday 20 of the Turkcell Super League, the Black Eagles won 4-1 at home to Gençlerbirliği, with goals from Sivok (33), Bobo (79) Holosko (81) and Tabata (87).

The match at BJK Inonu Stadium was refereed by Bünyamin Gezer.
The opening minutes were a typical midfield battle with no clear cut chances falling to either side until the game burst into life with a 33rd minute goal by Sivok. The Czech international took a great pass from Bobo inside the box and struck without hesitation to put Beşiktaş a goal up. The visitors desperately tried to equalise, but Mustafa Denizli’s troops held firm and went into half time with a goal advantage.
Gençlerbirliği started the second half stronger and got back on level terms through Hurşit on 52 minutes. But the Black and White did not panic and brought on Yusuf Şimşek and Holosko for Nihat Kahveci and Tello in the 63rd minute to strengthen the front line. The substitutions immediately paid off as the Eagles pinned the red and black Ankara City side deep into their own half. They reaped the reward for their efforts when Bobo smashed one home to help the home side regain the lead after 79 minutes. Two minutes later, Holosko converted Yusuf Şimşek’s clever pass to make it 3-1 for Beşiktaş and break the match open. The Brazilian Tabata secured all there points for the hosts with a neat finish off a left side corner kick three minutes from time as the Black and White ran out 4-1 victors.
