METİN KEÇELİ Born in 1949, Rize, Metin Keçeli completed the Işık High School and Istanbul Technical University Faculty of Mines before obtaining his masters degree in Sweden. He served on Beşiktaş Board of Directors in 1979 at the age of thirty. He is one of the directors with the longest tenure in the club and played an important role in developing Beşiktaş’s lands in Fulya and Ümraniye. He was a Member of Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (İSO), Istanbul Metropolitan City Council (İBB) and Beşiktaş Municipality Council. Mr. Keçeli is married with two children.
