METE DÜREN Born in 1963, Istanbul, Mr. Düren completed Istanbul German High School before graduating from the Cerrahpaşa Medical Faculty of Istanbul University. He became a general surgery specialist in 1993 and went to work for Prof. Dr. Orlo Clark in endocrine surgery as a research assistant at the San Francisco, California University. He was granted the title of General Surgery Professor in 2003. He currently serves in the Cerrahpaşa Medical Faculty of Istanbul University.
