After Beşiktaş’s 1-0 loss to Büyükşehir Belediyespor, Manager Mustafa Denizli commented on his team’s performance:

“Unfortunately, our downward trend, which started with Manisapor match, has continued tonight. We have made note of all the mistakes that led to our loss tonight. We will try to figure out a way for not repeating them in our future matches. For some unknown reasons, we looked over-aggressive on the pitch and hurried our chances. In order to make a fresh start into the league’s second half, this entire week, we’ll work on our weak points that need to be improved. Since it’s going to be a tight race in the second half, unlike tonight, we expect all our fans come out and support us, if they really want see their favorite team go all the way. Büyükşehir Belediyespor always play well against us. But if we want to finish first in this race, we have to find a way to beat the scrappy teams like them.
 I still believe in my players, but my players must show the same commitment and willingness they showed last season. Some times we lose our concentration and look like amateurs out there. We will try to get rid of these mistakes during this week.
I’m not going too demand any transfers from the management. We have had some chances in the first half. However it's always the goal which determines the winner in a game. Tonight, we are the team who have suffered from this adversity.”
