Beşiktaş’s popular defender İsmail Köybaşı, who has spent his winter holiday in İskenderun Distric of Hatay City, visited the Namık Kemal Primary School where he used to be a student and chatted with the young Beşiktaş fans:

İsmail Köybaşı who has come to İskendurun District of Hatay to spend his holiday, visited his former school called Namık Kemal Primary School and met with the students.
Köybaşı who told his football life to the students has stated that: “If you want to be successful at whatever you are you doing, “hard working” is the key word. It doesn’t that much matter what profession you choose; without putting in extra effort, time and commitment you achieve nothing. So don’t disappoint your parents and keep working hard until you make your dreams come true.”
He then signed autographs and replied the student’s questions. Following the chat, he told about Beşiktaş’s second half performance:
“We weren’t planning to drop so many points in the first half of the season. But in a 3-point system, our current 5 point difference with the league leader is not that important and can be closed very quickly. We know what we are capable of and have great confidence in ourselves. This winter break will give us a chance to work on our problems and get ready for the second half of the season, which is going to be tight one for everybody. Although this is my first year at Beşiktaş, I feel like I’ve been a part of this great community all my life.”
