Beşiktaş’s Italian defender Matteo Ferrari had a successful orbital bone surgery at the Maslak Acıbadem Hospital.

Ferrari, who got injured in last week’s match against Bursaspor, had to wait until yesterday to have his operation due to a swelling in his face.
The surgery was performed by the Surgeon Şafak Karslıoğlu. Beşiktaş Club Doctor Devrim Urgun said the surgery lasted 3 hours and Ferrari’s orbital fracture was fixed successfully.
According to Doctor Urgun, Matteo Ferrari will stay in hospital for two more days for further tests and start training with the team after a month.
