Visiting Beşiktaş Cola Turka Women’s Basketball fell, 81-60, to Sony Athinaikos of Greece in Athens, in its 5th FIBA Eurocup Group F game.

After Branzova Erdenay opened the scoring with a jumper, the teams swapped baskets for rest of the way, but a late surge gave the Lady Eagles a 25-23 edge going into the second.
The second stanza saw the Greek side come back and take total control, as they took a 41-32 lead into the locker room at the half.
Sony Athinaikos carried its momentum into the second half and led by as many as 21 in the third quarter. The Black and White tried to stage a late rally to get back into game but still trailed 61-42 after three quarters.
The host team never looked back in the final period of play and walked away with a comfortable 81-60 victory.
In the other game of the Group F, Chevakata of Russia defeated the visiting Armenian side Hatis Erivan, 91-82.
