On Match day 8 of the Turkcell Super league, Beşiktaş picked up a 1-0 home win against Denizlispor, thanks to a 49th minute goal from Tabata.

The match at the BJK İnönü Stadium was refereed by Fırat Aydınus.  
Determined to win at all costs, the Black and White applied pressure right from the start and came close to scoring as early as the first minute; but Nobre’s strike off Yusuf Şimşek’s cross hit the post and went out.  Despite creating a flurry of chances, the Eagles were unable to get on the scoreboard and the first half ended scoreless.  
Beşiktaş Technical Director Mustafa Denizli brought on strikers Nihat and Bobo for midfielders Serdar Özkan and Yusuf Şimşek in the second half and the substitutions paid off handsomely as the Black and White finally broke the deadlock through Brazilian Tabata on 49 minutes. Uğur İnceman came on for Nobre in the 79th minute to strengthen Beşiktaş’s midfield and defense. During the remainder of the match, the Black Eagles could not add to their lead but still managed a valuable 1-0 home win over their visitors from Denizli City.
