Beşiktaş Men’s Handball were outscored by the Vardar PRO of Macedonia, 33-30, in a Champions League preliminary round group match.

The group A opener took place in Skopje City of Macedonia and the home team squeezed out a three-point, 33-30, victory over Beşiktaş, after leading 19-14 at the half.
The referees awarded a total of eleven 7m shots to Vardar and called nine 2-minute penalties against Eagles in a clear display of love for the sport.
