Beşiktaş Men’s Handball bowed out of the Champions League after losing to Buducnost Podgorica of Montenegro, 31-28, in their third preliminary round group game. The Black and White will now continue their European journey in the EHF Cup.
In their third and final group match, the Beşiktaş faced Buducnost Podgorica of Montenegro in Skopje. After an evenly balanced first half that saw the Black and White trailing only by two goals at 14-12, the Eagles gave everything they got in the second half but could not avoid going down 31-28 to their opponents.After finishing fourth in their group, the Black and White will now take part in the European EHF Cup. They are paired with Red Star of Serbia in the second round.
