A club statement sent to Istanbul Stocks Exchange by Beşiktaş Fottball Investement Co. has confirmed the signing of Brazilian Rodrigo Tabata from Gaziantepspor.

The statement reads:
 “Following a series of negotiations with his club Gaziantepspor, Beşiktaş has signed Rodrigo Tabata to a 3-year contract (Until the end of 2011-2012 season). According to the clauses of the contract, the said player will receive Euro 1.4 million for 2009-10 season; Euro 1.5 million for 2010-11 season; and Euro 1.6 million for 2011-12 season.
