One of our legendary former players Gökhan Keskin has become a coordinator for the BJK youth organization. 

Gökhan Kekin, who played for the Black Eagles between the years 1984 and 1996 and enjoyed several league and cup titles, will now raise new young stars for the Beşiktaş professional football team.   After retiring from football, Gökhan Keskin picked up coaching and worked as an assistant coach under Rıza Çalımbay at Beşiktaş for one season. One of our other unforgettable players Sergen Yalçın, on the other hand, is to continue his internship with the Beşiktaş Under18 team.
Mr. Halim Aydın, who is a Board Member in charge of our youth organization, talked to our website on these new developments:
“We needed a change of leadership at our youth organization; so we decided to hire Gökhan Keskin as a head coordinator. With his past experience and knowledge, I am sure he will be a great asset for our club. We have also rotated some of our coaches, but Sergen Yalçın will remain with our Under 18 team and continue his internship there. As always happened in the past, Beşiktaş Youth organization, which I believe is the best in this country, will continue to accomplish great thins for us.”
