Our Men’s Volleyball has signed İvaylo Barutov of Bulgaria to a one-year contract.
Beşiktaş Men’s volleyball Team has added 1976 born, 1.99m tall İvaylo Brutov from Bulgaria for the new season, who plays setter’s opposite. The veteran Bulgarian player has previously played for many others Turkish teams. He was with Arkasspor when the İzmir City team won the national title during 2005-06 season. Mr Bülent Deriş, who is a Board Member of Beşiktaş in Charge of Volleyball, Handball, Rıowing and Boxing Branches, aired his views on the Bulgarian player’s transfer to Beşiktaş:
“By signing İvaylo Barutov we have added an experienced player to our squad. No need to say much about him because his resume proves his quality. As you are all witnessing, we are trying to put together a powerful team for our upcoming league matches. We plan to sign two more foreign stars before the start of the league. Our fans will surely appreciate this team next season.”
