The Women’s Volleyball Team, while continuing its transfer season, has acquired Duygu Sipahioğlu who played for Fenerbahçe Acıbadem last season.

Duygu Sipahioğlu signed the contact bringing her to Beşiktaş, in a ceremony at Akatlar Cola Turka Arena, attended by Member of the Board of Directors Bülent Deriş. She had previously worn our colours for the Women’s Volleyball Team between 2003 and 2006. The experienced player was born in 1979. She is 1 metre and 80 centimetres high, and plays centre.
Speaking after the signing ceremony, the Member of the Board of Directors in charge of Volleyball, Handball, Rowing and Boxing Schools Bülent Deriş said the following: "We are trying to come up with the team that will compete in the new season, in line with the reports prepared by our coach and technical crew. Thanks to the support of our President Yıldırım Demirören, we are forming a new team that will play at high levels in the new season. After signing an agreement with Seda Eryüz yesterday, we succeeded to make the transfer of Duygu Sipahioğlu. We will continue our transfers by adding native and foreign players to our team.”
