After the draw that took place at Ataköy Olympic House today, Beşiktaş Secretary General Mr. Kenan Öner has shared his thoughts on the upcoming 2009-2010 season schedule of the Black and White:

“Before I go any further, I wish all our competitors a very good season. As you will all recall, last season was a real tight race, and the winner wasn’t announced until the end of the final ninety minutes. Week after week, contenders ended up getting unexpected results. On a given day, any team could bring a title chaser down regardless of their position in the standings. This proved the quality of our league. I am sure we will continue to see this type of excitement in the upcoming season as well. In the first game of the new season, we take on Büyükşehir Belediyespor of Istanbul, and we are going to be on our guard right from the start because they are team full of surprises; you can never predict what they are going to do out there. But we are not afraid of any team because we are the champions; they should be afraid of us.”
