Our new transfer from Karşıyaka stressed that he had put out extra effort to earn himself a place on the starting line-up.
As a starter for the Turkish U-21 National Team, which is currently competing in the 16th Mediterranean Games, Ridvan Simsek said, “Although I am only 18, I have no doubts of finding a place in the team; I am proud to be a part of this great club.”He went on to explain that even though he mostly played right fullback position, he had quite a few assists to his name last season due to his ability to merge speed and offensive skills.
He ended his words by saying, “I am thrilled to play for Mustafa Denizli’s team; he is a great coach and I will learn a lot from him. As an 18-year-old, I am just starting my career and I don’t expect everything happen over night. I know it will take sometime to get spot on the team, but I virtually lock myself in the BJK Nevzat Demir Camp Faciliteis and train day and night to achieve my goal. I will not disappoint the people who brought me here. I cannot wait to wear that glorious Black and White jersey in the season opener. All our fans will see what kind of player I am. The team will play more than 50 games next season, and I am sure I’ll get a chance to prove myself.”
