Double cup winners Beşiktaş celebrated their latest victory of the season with a giant party held at BJK İnönü Stadium on Sunday, which was attended by board managers, Football Club and thousand of die hard fans ranging from 7-70 years old. After the 2-1 win against Denizlispor last night, Beşiktaş celebrated the first league title in 6 years with loyal fans in additions to Fortis Turkey Cup. Fans arriving at early hours began to fill the stands decorated with flags and banners starting from 4:00 pm. While there was a real carnival atmosphere outside the stadium, the cheering inside got louder and louder by the hour.
Our supporters with Black & White flags and jerseys started to cheer and celebrate our double singing championship.
It was truly a memorable sight to see thousands of Beşiktaş supporters in Black & White jerseys singing and chanting in unison.
As the minutes passed, torch carrying fans of each age and every age turned İnönü Stadium to a feast place and enjoyed the victory.
Then the open bus carrying Beşiktaş President Yıldırım Demirören, Board Members, Technical Director Mustafa Denizli, coaching staff and players arrived and the fans outside the stadium cheered over them.
Around 8:10 pm, as the bus entered İnönü Stadium, the crowd went wild and the unforgettable championship night continued.
Famous Turkish singers Demet Akalın and Mustafa Sandal, who are known to be true-blood Beşiktaş fans kept the sprits in the stands high with their popular songs; then an extraordinary dancing show by the Anatolian Fire would leave jaws open for a long time.
Meanwhile, Beşiktaş Management thanked their loyal fans for their unwavering, all-season long support by airing the fans’ own cheering show in previous matches on a giant video screen.
Then, the Football Team Management Staff, Players, Technical Staff including Mustafa Denizli, Board Members and finally our President Yıldırım Demirören were called to a platform built in the middle of the pitch one by one, amidst thunderous applause from the devoted fans. Fireworks and a unique laser light showed greeted all those who played a part in this season’s formidable race. President Yıldırım Demirören stepped on the platform with his child.
The President of Turkish Football Federation Mr. Mahmut Özgener and the federation officials were the last ones on the platform. After congratulating every single Black Eagle, Mr. Özgener presented the 2008-2009 Turkcell Super League Cup to the national champions.

Our players enjoyed their second cup in this season under a sea of confetti and fireworks. Our victory with double cup was celebrated with a great joy at İnönü Stadium.
The Black and White would then took a Championship Tour around the pitch with the cup and celebrated their league title with their overjoyed fans.
In this unforgettable night at İnönü Stadium, our supporters and players had fun together while fans called our team to tribunes hand to hand and cheered over them.
