After winning the league title, Beşiktaş players commented their success with these words:

İbrahim Üzülmez: “Our Technical Director always kept our moral high, even after we dropped some stupid points along the way. He never lost his confidence in us. Then, he made us believe in ourselves. He told us not to worry because our rivals would also lose points down the stretch; and if we worked hard enough, we could go all the way and win both titles.That’s what we did and here we are. I would like thank our Technical Director Mustafa Denizli, my teammates and our devoted fans. Without them, all these would not be possible.Now, we must take this positive momentum to the Champions League.”
Gökhan Zan: “We are all delighted to close out the season atop the table. After so many weeks of neck-to-neck race, we’ve finally captured the league title and become champions. If it wasn’t for Mustafa Denizli’s determination, motivation and experience, we wouldn’t be here. While he was getting criticized heavily, he took the blame for our wrongs but never stopped believing in us; so he deserves a lot of credit for keeping everything rolling. He wanted to see his beloved Beşiktaş champion more than anyone else. Then, he convinced us that we could win this race, if we played our cards right.”
Yusuf Şimşek: “My thanks go to all those who helped us come this far. I dedicate this title to all our fans.”
İbrahim Toraman: “I think we truly deserved to win this title. Despite some stupid losses early on, we were the better and more consistent team in this race. Especially after Mustafa Denizli took over as our new head coach, things started looking brighter for us. We worked harder than our rivals and went all the way. Now, we must repeat this performance in our European matches and get ready to retain our titles. I dedicate this title to all fans wherever they may be.”
Hakan Arıkan: “No one can dispute the titles we’ve won this season. Ironically, at the end of the first half of the season, we were 6th in the table; and no one believed that we could make it.  However, with the start of the second half, we played as hard as we could out there. Our Technical Director Mustafa Denizli kept motivating us all the time, even after our bad losses. Under his leadership, we gained confidence and found consistency. We never ceased fighting until the final whistle. Even when were down by a couple of goals, we knew we could comeback and win it. Since no other team matched our performance down the final games, we deserved to win both titles.”
Tello: “Being a champion feels so good. We showed our true strength especially in the second half of season and deserved to win this race.”
Sivok: “When we were a disappointing 6th at the end of the first half of the season, our fans did not desert us and backed us all the way instead. I would like dedicate this league championship title to them. Without their support, who knows where would be right now.”
