Super League Champions Beşiktaş won the 2009 Turkish Cup with a 31-23 victory over İzmir Büyükşehir Belediyesi.

After beating Mersin Yenişehir Belediyesi, 27-26, and Büyükşehir Belediyesi Ankaraspor, 30-28, in previous rounds, the Black and White took on İzmir Büyükşehir Belediyesi in the Cup final at Antalya today.
The Black Eagles dominated the game right from the start and built a 15-11 cushion by the half en route to a comfortable 31-23 victory. This win gave Beşiktaş their second title in 2009.
