The BJK Science Museum, set up by the BJK College, has opened its doors to public with an impressive ribbon-cutting ceremony.
In addition to Beşiktaş President Yıldırım Demirören, Secretary General Kenan Özer, Vice-Presidents Ertunç Soğancıoğlu and Behçet Ümitlen, Beşiktaş Football Team’s Technical Director Mustafa Denizli, Beşiktaş Mayor İsmail Ünal, Director of Education for Istanbul Ata Özer, District Administrator for Beşiktaş Saadettin Yücel, the President of Bahçeşehir Educational Institutions and the Founder of BJK College Enver Yücel as well as a large group of distinguished guests attended the opening ceremony.At the ceremony, our President Yıldırım Demirören addressed the quests:
“We are gathered here today to launch the BJK Science Museum that marks yet another milestone in our glorious history. We also brought you the Turkish Cup for your enjoyment. We will bring you this season’s League Championship Cup as well. But all these cups reflect temporary successes. The important thing is to give our children a modern education with true Beşiktaş tradition. I am proud to say that our BJK College has taken giant strides in this direction.”
Following the speech, President Yıldırım cut the ribbon of the new museum together with Enver Yücel, İsmail Ünal, Ata Özer and Sadettin Yücel.
Then, the quests visited the museum, which all kinds of scientific equipment used in tests. The test carried out by the BJK College students attracted great attention from the visitors.
