Ankaragücü 1- 3 Beşiktaş

Visiting Beşiktaş grabbed a vital 3-1 win againts Ankaragücü in Week 32 of the Turkcell Super League with goals from Bobo (2, 82) and Fabian Ernst (23) and remained atop the standings.

The match was referred by Tolga Özkalfa. As expected, the travelling Beşiktaş faithfull filled the stands of Ankara May 19 Stadium and cheered their favorite team on throughout the entire 90 minutes. The Black and White entered the pitch with a banner that celebrated the 162nd anniversary of Turkish Deed Offices.

Determined to win at all costs, Beşiktaş raced out an early 1-0 lead through Bobo as early as the 2nd minute. But Iglesias brought the teams on level terms when he scored off Burak’s deflected header in the 17th minute. The Black and White would regain the lead five minutes later though; as German International Fabian Ernst unleashed a bullet from 20 yards out that crashed into the back of the net after hitting the goal post. The Black Eagles led 2-1 at the half.

In the early minutes of the second half, Ankaragücü pushed forward in search of an equalizer, but thanks to a solid Beşiktaş defense, fell frustratingly short. After replacing Yusuf Şimşek and Tello with Ekrem Dağ and Uğur İnceman, the Black and White took complete control in midfield. After Bobo added an insurance goal on 82th minute with a superb header, Beşiktaş held on to win 3-1 and finished the Week 32 atop the table, 2 points ahead of Sivasspor.
