The victorious Beşiktaş technical staff and players, who routed archrival Fenerbahçe 4-2 at İzmir City’s Atatürk Stadium in the final, first received individual medals on a stand set up in the middle of the pitch.

Then, the Fortis Turkish Cup for 2008-09 was presented to them by Mr. Mahmut Özgener, the President of Turkish Football Association.
The Black Eagles lifted the Turkish Cup under a sea of confetti and took a victory lap around the pitch to celebrate with their devoted fans that filled half of the stands.
