Ankaraspor 1- 4 Beşiktaş

Visiting Black and White took on Ankaraspor at Yenikent ASAŞ Stadium on Day 31 of the Turkcell Super League and moved into sole possession of the first place after picking up a 4-1 victory with goals from Holosko (29), İbrahim Toraman (71), Bobo (88), and Tello (90).

The first 20 minutes of the game were played mostly in midfield with neither side creating any clear-cut chances. But the Black and White eventually gained control by mounting dangerous attacks down the wings. The pressure would pay off in the 29th minute; when Holosko took a great through ball from Delgado and buried it into right corner of the host team’s net to open the scoring for the visitors. The first half ended 1-0 in favor of the Black Eagle.

At the outset of the second half, the Black and White had a flurry of chances to add to their tally but failed to finish them off. Despite Beşiktaş’s pressure, the home team managed to level the score on a header by Ediz off a 61st minute Ankaraspor corner kick. After this unexpected goal, the Black and White brought on Tello for Delgado and won back-to-back corner kicks to reclaim the lead. Ibrahim Toraman would finally put an end to Beşiktaş’s misery on 71 minutes when he blasted home another Beşiktaş corner kick to make it 2-1 for the visitors. Two minutes from time, Bobo secured the Black and White’s win with a clever touch; and Tello closed the scoring in the 90th minute by taking advantage of Ankaraspor keeper’s defensive blunder to help his team come away with a precious 4-1 away victory.

The win moves Beşiktaş into sole possession of first place, 2 points ahead of Sivaspor who lost to Istanbul Büyükşehir Belediyesi at home.
