Beşiktaş Men’s Handball downed Milli Piyango 35-32 in Game 2 of their playoff semifinals to increase their series lead to 2-0.

The teams appeared evenly matched in the early going; but the Black and White eventually gained the upper hand and opened up a 5-goal, 8-3, advantage at the 10:00 mark. However, Milli Piyango refused to surrender; as they tightened defensively to tie the score at 8-8 on a string of unanswered goals by Utku with 14:15 remaining in the first half. Beşiktaş tried to rally back; but it was 17-15 in favor of the visitors at the half.
The Black and White got back on track in the second half and went on to retake the lead at the halfway mark courtesy of back-to-back goals from Valeri and Utku. Beşiktaş withstood a last-ditch effort by the Ankara team in the dying minutes before walking away with a 35-32 win.
