After the Beşiktaş Handball Team’s Challenge Cup semifinal second leg against UCM Resita, Head Coach Müfit Arın and Branch Manager Bilal Eyüpğlu shared their views with our website:

Müfit Arın: “First of all I congratulate our opponent and wish them good luck in the final. But our players also deserve to be conratulted for coming this far. Today we couldn’t display our usual performance. The poor officiating had also a negative impact on our play. But most of all, we missed Ramazan a lot today. Now, we will focus on our Legue and Cup games and try to win both of them.”

Bilal Eyüboğlu: “I am proud of all our players. They deserve a lot of credit for making the Challenge Cup semifinal— a first in Turkish handball history. If we had a decent officiating, I am sure the score would’ve been much different today. It was a good learning experience for us. Now, we will go back to our own league and pick up where we left off.”
