Beşiktaş Cola Turka snatches a 90-83 victory over Mutlu Akü Selçuk University at BJK Akatlar Cola Arena in a TBBL Week 26 game.

The game was an up and down affair right from the opening tip with both teams looking to run and get easy baskets. While the Black and White tried to pull away with three-pointers, Mutlu Akü relied mostly on Ufuk’s hot hand. The home team from Konya City managed to take to a slim 25-24 lead heading into second.
  
The Black and White opened the second quarter with back-to-back threes, but Ufuk and Hickerson teamed up to make sure that Beşiktaş Cola Turka wasn’t going anywhere. A string of jumpers by Haluk Yıldırım and Wesson gave the Black and White a 40-36 edge before Mutlu Akü came back and trimmed the deficit to 1 entering the final three minutes.  Nevertheless, Chatman scored 6 straight points in span of nearly 2:00 to extend Beşiktaş’s lead to 46-40 at halftime.
Just like in the previous quarter, Beşiktaş Cola Turka again knocked down a couple of three-pointers at the outset of the third stanza, but Ufuk and Smith answered right back with threes of their own to bring Mutlu Akü to within 3. However, from that point on, the Black and White began to dominate both ends of the court, and thanks to a series of jumpers by Cevher and Wesson, led 64-57 with one quarter to go.
 
Mutlu Akü Selçuk University started the final frame with a 5-0 run and pulled to within 2 points. Then, the game turned into another seesaw affair with the visitors following close behind. But Haluk Yıldırım, Chatman and Cevher combined for a 9-0 run that made it 75-66 for the Black and White with 3:12 left. While the visitors desperately sought a way back into the game, Mehmet Yağmur stepped up and unleashed a barrage of three-pointers from downtown in the dying minutes to propel Beşiktaş Cola Turka to a  90-83 victory.
