After the Hacettepe game, our team’s captains Delgado and Nobre evaluated the Black and White’s performance:

Delgado: ‘‘Actually, Hacettepe doesn’t deserve to be at the bottom of the table. As you’ve all seen, they fight and run a lot. Tonight, we relaxed too soon and gave them a chance to climb back into the game. But, this was our second game this week and we looked a little bit tired out there.’’

Nobre: ‘‘After taking an early lead, we lost our focus and put the game in danger. However, we prevailed in the end and collected that precious 3 points. That’s what counts in this tight title race. Now, we are looking forward to our next league match.

Before the game, I was diagnosed with calf hematoma and told to rest. But I felt really good in our last practice and decided to play. I don’t want to leave my team alone in this tough period.’’
