After Beşiktaş’s 3-1 cup victory over Ankaraspor, our Team Captain Delgado and Forward Holosko commented on the game:

Delgado: ‘‘It was not a spectacular goal. I launched a shot from 30 yards out that hit a defenseman and caught the keeper on the wrong foot. I am extremely happy to be a part of the victory. If we play the way we did tonight no one can beat us. I did not feel any tiredness after the game tonight. I expect to play full game on Saturday.’’
Holosko: ‘‘Scoring three away goals in the first leg will sure give us a serious advantage for the replay in Istanbul. But we must not relax too much; because, anything may happen in these types of cup ties.  
Not only my goal but all the three goals we scored were super; we performed at higher level tonight and deserved to win. Our Coach had prepared us well for this game. After studying their game plan carefully, coming into the game, we took all the necessary measures. I can say only one word for our first-half performance: brilliant.  I think it is going to be much easier in the return match.
This season, there are so many contenders in the Legue, and the race is real tight; but at this stage, we are not interested in what the others do. We are trying to focus only on our own games. If we keep playing like this, we can win both cups.’’
