Ankaraspor 1-3 Beşiktaş

Our visiting Football Squad grabbed a precious 3-1 win over Ankaraspor at Ankara Yenikent Asaş Stadium in the first leg of   Fortis Turkish Cup Semifinals with goals from Delgado (41), Holosko (77) and Yusuf (89).

The match was refereed by Selçuk Dereli and a large group of Beşiktaş cheered their favorite on faithfully throughout 90 minutes.
Although the Black and White was the superior side in the early looking, the home side Ankaraspor went ahead on a 25th-minute penalty by Bilal. But Delgado unleashed a bullet from 30 yards out that beat goalkeeper Evren and brought the sides on level terms after 41 minutes. The teams went into their locker rooms locked in a 1-1 tie. A foreign object thrown from the stands in the closing stages hit Tello in the head but caused no serious injury.
After substituting Holosko for Bobo in the 66th minute, Beşiktaş began to create clear-cut chances and looked more threatening up front.  The pressure would pay off on 77 minutes, when Nobre buried Holosko’s perfectly-timed pass into the left corner to make it 2-1 for the visitors. The Black and White brought on Cisse and Yusuf Şimşek after 79 minutes for Tello and Delgado. Ten minutes later, Yusuf dribbled past the entire Ankaraspor defense inside the 18-yard box to score an insurance goal, which would put the game away for good. Since neither side managed to change the scoreboard in the remaining minutes, the Black and White came way with an impressive 3-1 first leg victory.
The replay is scheduled to take place in Istanbul on April 22nd.
