Beşiktaş:2 İstanbul Bş. Bld.:1

The Black and White edge past İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyespor 2-1 at BJK İnönü Stadium on Matchday 22 of the Turkcell Super League.

In memory of the those  passengers who had lost their lives in Turkish Airlines plane crash at  Amsterdam Airport a one-minute of silence was observed before the kickoff.
Spurred on by a boisterous home crowd, Beşiktaş applied early pressure through Delgado and Nobre for a quick lead while İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyespor remained mostly in their own end and relied on fast counterattacks. However, since neither team managed to score, they went into their locker rooms at the half locked in goalless tie.
The Black and White looked sluggish at the onset of the second half and had to bring on Holosko in the 61st minute for additional scoring punch upfront. The tactic paid off, and Beşiktaş started creating clear-cut chances initiated from both wings. On two occasions the Black and White came real close to scoring. Few minutes after Tello’s 60th minute hard drive went inches wide of the cross bar, Nobre’s header hit the goal post but didn’t go in. A 79-minute Nobre goal was disallowed because of an offside goal. Beşiktaş finally went in front in the 80h minute on a well-timed header by Tello. The visitors came back and equalized the score through Serhat Gürpınar on 84 minutes, but Gökhan Zan headed in Tello’s perfect cross one minute later to put the Black and White ahead  2-1  for good.
