Beşiktaş Cola Turk Men’s Basketball trounces Fenerbahçe Ülker, 110-95, at Akatlar Cola Turka Arena in a clash of cross-town rivals.

Putting out a starting lineup consisting of Chatman, Baxter, Muratcan, Cevher and Mims, the Black and White had trouble finding its offensive rhythm and trailed 17-9 midway through the quarter. But Baxter and Cevher helped Beşiktaş Cola Turka to put together a late 7-0 run that gave the Black and White a 28-26 edge at the end of the opening frame. The game went back and forth in the second quarter, but the Black and White managed to hold onto a slim 56-54 lead, heading into the locker room at the break.
Thanks to Chatman’s hot-hand, Beşiktaş Cola Turka opened the second half with a 10-0 run to push its lead to 66-54 two minutes into the third frame. However, the visiting Fenerbahçe Ülker refused to bow out and fought back to creep within 79-73 after three quarters of play. The Black and White regained control in the final frame and rode a game-ending 11-0 run at the halfway mark en route a comfortable 110-95 home victory.
