After battling Konyaspor to a scoreless draw, our Technical Director Mustafa Denizli evaluated his team’s performance:

‘‘Today, Konyaspor defended their net extremely well. Under the circumstances, we tried everything but could not come up with an effective way to overcome their tenacious defense. Moreover, as the game progressed, the pressure to win intensified and cost us a couple of good chances. In short, we dropped 2 valuable points out there today.

Although our offense lacked its usual rhythm, we still managed to come close to scoring on couple of occasions. If you want to win on the road, you are not going waste your opportunities, because you don’t get too many of them.

At this stage, the point gap between us and the current league leader does not bother us at all; because we still have a long way to go.’’
