After Beşiktaş’s 3-1 win against Antalyaspor, The Black and White’s new addition Fabian Ernst expressed his pleasure over the support he was getting from his teammates for his rapid adaptation to Beşiktaş.

After his first official game in which he stayed on the pitch for 65 minutes before being replaced by Cisse, the German player had these to say to the press:
‘‘I was more than happy about the warm welcome I received here at Beşiktaş. All my teammates have been helping me to adapt to Beşiktaş rapidly. I talked to our Technical Director Mustafa Denizli before the game; he told me that despite my lack of training I could still play; so I went out there and did my best.
When I was called to the stands during our warm up, the reception I got from the fans really motivated me for the game. We don’t have this kind of fan’s cheering back at home; I really enjoyed it’’
