Our Technical Director Mustafa Denizli talked to reporters after his team’s valuable 1-0 victory over Antalyaspor. 

‘‘This was our 4th game against Antalyaspor this season; and we won all of them. However, as everybody saw out there, they’ve come a long way since our first encounter. Moreover, it is not easy to play against a team you have beaten three times in a row. As the game proceeds, you naturally tend to lose your concentration. We were not too productive in the first half; but we looked real dangerous until the 75th minute and created a flurry of chances. Then, we started loosing our concentration and Antalyaspor pushed hard to get that equalizer, but we, nevertheless, managed to hold onto to our one-goal advantage. In comparison to our title rivals, we covered some important ground during the past two weeks. Two weeks ago, we trailed our 5 title rivals by a total of 23 points; now we are only 16 points behind. But one-goal victories are always dangerous, so we must find new ways to score more goals. I admit, today, we were really pressured during the closing stages. However, at this stage, 3 points matter more than our overall performance. If we want to close the gap between us and our rivals, we have to keep on winning no matter what. From now on, we will regard every one of our game as a must-win final. We hope to win Wednesday’s cup tie against them as well.’’
