The February 2009 issue of the Beşiktaş Magazine features President Demirören’s foreword addressed to our supporters:

Dear Beşikaş Fans,
Please, write down the date of February 11, 2009 somewhere; because this date not only marks a major milestone for Beşiktaş but also symbolizes a new beginning for our beloved club.  The BJK Fulya Süleyman Seba Sports Complex—which will open its doors with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on February 11th—is set to ensure Beşiktaş’s future.
Dear Beşiktaş Fans,
I want you to know that since our first day in office, we’ve been working hard to complete this extremely crucial project that has been neglected for far too long. Motivated solely by a never-ending love for Beşiktaş, I, along with other dedicated members of our board, have spared no effort to bring the BJK Fulya Süleyman Seba Spots Complex to its conclusion on the previously announced date.  
We would like take this opportunity to thank all those contributors who helped us fulfill our promise and made the realization of this valuable project possible.
Dear Beşiktaş Fans,
Since every passing minute is precious for Beşiktaş—in addition to BJK Fulya Süleyman Seba Sports Complex—we are planning to undertake many other pioneering projects that are designed to carry our club forward in every possible way. These new projects—which will be funded through new sponsorships—are going to provide Beşiktaş with new sources of income for many years to come. The details of the said projects will be made public in very near future.
With your support, we are confident that our club will be able to reach all its goals in 2009; and contrary to commonly held opinion, the year 2009 will turn out to be very good year for Beşiktaş.
