Beşiktaş Table Tennis Squad won the prestigious Istanbul Championship, which was held at Tozkoparan Sports Hall between December 27 and 28.

After knocking Akpınar out in the semifinals, the Black and White took on Istanbul Büyükşehir Belediyesi in the final and sailed to a 3-0 victory to win the Istanbul provincial title.

Our Table Tennis had claimed a 4-3 win over its formidable opponent in a previous league contest as well.

In the meantime, the Black and White took place in the first eight finishing fourth in the league and qualified for the playoffs scheduled to start on February 28.
