Delgado: ‘‘As everyone would recall, we had a rough couple weeks and badly needed to win this game. We all understood the importance of this match and fought as hard as we could. Today, getting 3 points mattered much more than our performance; but I think we were also the dominant side out there. I would like thank my coach and technical staff for getting me ready for tonight’s game. Without their moral support, I wouldn’t be able to perform at this high level.’’
Ekrem Dağ: ‘‘I believe, as a team, we’ve performed extremely well tonight. If we had been a little bit careful and lucky, we could have won this game by 5 or 6 goals.’’
