The Black and White beat visiting Ankaragücü 1-0 on Matchday 15 of the Turkcell Super League with a 25th –minute goal by Holosko.

The match was refereed by Yunus Yıldırım; and Beşiktaş received a loud and boisterous cheering from their fans throughout the entire game. The Black and White carried a banner across the pitch before the kick-off, in support of Turkish Kidney Foundation. 
Beşiktaş applied constant pressure right from the start and launched dangerous looking wing attacks in search of an early goal. The Black and White’s dream would come through in the 25th minute when Holosko put them up 1-0 with a clever finish. During the remaining minutes, Beşiktaş had numerous chances to add an insurance goal but managed to squander all of them with near misses. The first half of the match, which marked Beşiktaş’s striker Nobre’s 100th league appearance in the Black and white jersey, ended 1-0 in favor of the home squad. 
Beşiktaş continued to press in the second half and created a flurry of chances to win comfortably but could not find the back of the net. As the half progressed, Bobo (73), Seriç (77) and Uğur İnceman (86) entered the game for Serdar Özkan, Ali Tandoğan and Holosko. However the substitutions could not alter the course of the match and the Black and White ran out 1-0 winners increasing its points to 28.
