Our Technical Director Mustafa Denizli got together with press members to exchange greetings on the occasion of religious holiday and assessed Beşiktaş’s recent performance:

‘‘I think we are being judged too early and criticized rather unfairly by some circles these days. I would like to point out that, even though we lost two games in a row, we are not going through any kind of technical or managerial crisis right now. If you lose a game or two, that’s not the end of the world. Show me a team that wins every other game! There is no need to panic. According to our estimations, this tight race will not be decided until the end of Matchday 26.  In the mean time, we will compensate for these losses in our future games and continue our pursuit of national title.’’   
 Mr: Denizli also commented on Team Captain Delgado’s recent poor performance:
‘Matias Delagodo is one of the undisputed stars of this team. Every player may experience up and downs once in a while; but we all know what he is capable of doing out there. He has been putting fort a valiant effort despite his injuries. He will probably travel abroad for treatment during mid-winter break. We’ve got a great deal of confidence in him.’’
