Our visiting Beşiktaş Cola Turka Men’s Basketball breezes past Antalya Büyükşehir Belediyesi, 85-66, at Atatürk Sports Hall on Mahchday 9 of the Beko Basketball League.

In order to establish an early lead, teams kept trading baskets throughout the opening frame; nevertheless, Antalya Büyükşehir held a slim 18-16 edge at the end of the first. The home squad turned up the pressure in the second and began to pull away with a string of unanswered buckets. Then Green and King connected on a barrage of three-pointers to spark a late Antalya rally that gave the hosts a comfortable 48-29 cushion entering the halftime break. 
Despite a 19-point deficit, the Black and White roared back to life in the second half and started chipping away at the lead with back-to-back layups by Chatman and Baxter. Antalya Büyükşehir Belediyesi tried hard to preserve its advantage but could not overcome a tenacious Beşiktaş Cola Turka defense. The teams were locked in a 59-59 tie after three quarters of play.  The Black and White managed to carry its fast-paced momentum into the final frame and went ahead for the first time after Muratcan made a turnaround jumper to start the quarter. Then Cevher Özer stepped up and drained consecutive three-point bombs to push Beşiktaş Cola Turka up 69-63 at the halfway mark. While Antalya was searching for a way to remain within striking distance, the Black and White put together a 15-0 run down the stretch en route to a convincing a 85-66 victory.         
    
For Beşiktaş Cola Turka, Chatman scored a game-high 20 points, followed by Baxter and Mims who each chipped in 14. Cevher Özer (11), Adem Ören (9), Haluk Yıldırım (9) and Muratcan Güler (8) were the other contributors for the victors.
